Tanny: A time specific to working on these skills brings that needed clarity to the team.
Kait. First off, I get a chance to be seen and heard by someone directly. In my mentoring sessions, I feel important and I feel listened to. I also love the fact that I’m able to practice the tools that we learn in our sessions and then take it back to the actual scenario that’s happening.
Kayla: In my mentoring sessions, I definitely get that support, the tools, and the help, and the leadership, to help me get back on track.
David: Well, when I’m being mentored, I feel like it’s a validation of the things I’m seeing, and I have the ability to talk about the people I’m mentoring, while I’m being mentored.
Shelonda: I get an opportunity to kind of talk about my fears and how I can develop as a person.
Christen: it’s nice. It’s really nice to get the mentoring because it’s one-on-one. Applying it to my specific instant situation is different. Having the one-on-one time very, very, much helps with that.
